| 4 extracts from Northwester wind upon Neustria |
|
Here is the descent-line of... Norwegian Haraldr, gone far away to search the wisdom of this world... throughout four astonishing journeys!
Year 913, during the summer
A wind, laden with spray, is lashing Haraldr Olafsson’s face, and the Viking deflects the track of his boat offshore the Danish coasts. The sea-king kept the south route, which ensures to rejoin Neustria by sailing only for seven nights... His objective is to reach Grestain of Fiquefleur, on the Southern coast of the Seine estuary!
Autumn 1054
An all black dressed man hastens himself on the way which leads to the Chalenges mound. Taciturnus, the philosopher, is in a hurry. There he reaches finally the accesses of the feudal mound where Hughes of Chalenges, lord of the place, is waiting for him… before going away from his stronghold to sail towards Apulia, Hellenic countries, and distant Russian grounds!
Year 1229, in winter time
Baron William of Chalenge is thoughtful. He had to leave his Chalenges stronghold, after Belleme of the Perche has been besieged, in order to settle in the middle of Sees, a metropolis where his son Reginald, Main Master Bretechier and follower of the slang, took a wow of priesthood in front of the chapter of the romanesque cathedral… him who practises the slangy or gothic art, as much as the esoteric one!
Spring 1251
Easter had been celebrated since fifteen days, when young shepherds came into Rouen with the aim of forcing the cathedral. However, it is the moment that Bill Chalange chose to make his entrance in the monks-abbey of Sees, named Saint Martin... as a prelude to his search for dialectic materialism, preached by Comrade Laynine, a former lay brother!
